Ohio State University has developed articulated programming pathways with a number of Ohio community colleges and technical institutions. These courses aim to enable students to transfer credits efficiently and transparently to obtain a bachelor`s degree in a oriented discipline. Please note that the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Guides includes lower division courses (1000 and 2000 and 2000) from two-year institutions that are listed as «equal in content» at the Upper Division (3000 and 4000 levels) at the OSU. These special courses may meet the content requirement of the indicated equivalency. However, they are not transferred as upper classes and do not directly replace higher league courses in an OSU curriculum. Returns of abandonment may be possible if they are approved by the OSU University which offers the diploma, provided that the total number of credit hours that have been abandoned there does not exceed six hours. It may be necessary to take extra hours of overtime at the OSU if such courses are taken by the lower department in a two-year college. Future Students: Sign up for Transfer Equivalency Self-Services and learn how your credits are transferred to OSU closing programs. The goal of the consortium agreements is an agreement between eligible schools, which allows students to attend classes at another college or university by providing different types of assistance to Ohio State University. Most of the following agreements allow students to complete the first two years of the requirement for a certain major (and an associate degree) and move to Ohio State to obtain a bachelor`s degree. How are your credits transferred by other schools? Here`s a simple way to see! We have put in place a transfer credit guide for your convenience. Just select the state and university you attended in the drop-down menu, and the guide generates a list of courses that other students have submitted to OSU in the past.
LD: Some lower division transfer courses may be equated with OSU courses in the upper division, and credits are considered a lower division and are not charged on the 60 higher league credits required.
